Well done Youth Group!
  Before this morning's Service twenty-two certificates will be presented by Sharon Gurney to Youth Group members to mark their acheivement in swimming 955 lengths of Deeping Pool and raising over £300 for Red Cross work in Kosovo and Youth Group Funds.  Well done!
Millennium
Tickets are now available for our Millennium Party which starts at 8.00pm at the William Hildyard School on Friday December 31st They cost £15.00 for adults, and £5.00 for children the evening will include special food,decorations and fireworks.
C.V.M.
This stands for "Christian Viewpoint for Men."  The local Open Door Baptist Church is keen to set up a local branch with involvement from other churches.  CVM proclaim "our mission is to win men for Christ. Our aim is to equip individual men to be more effective in Christian witness and to grow in faith. If any men are interested please sign the list at the back of Church.
Look East Ahoj
We have received details from St George's church in Stamford about a weekend from 30-31st October at george's Place and the church concerned with mission.  This is for all ages and includes a special emphasis on Eastern Europe.  The leaflet has been placed at the back of church.
Time & Talents
We are to have an auction on Sunday November 21st at 1.30pm after a parish lunch.  At the back of church there are two lists one for time and talents you can offer and the other a list of needs that others may be able to supply.  This has become an enjoyable annual event.  Do come and support it.  Further details from Stewart Jones 344631.
Household Quiz
Mavis Garvey has now compiled a new quiz, priced £1, which is on sale from Glenys Whittle.  All proceeds to Church funds and the closing date will be 14th November.  Prize £20.  If you feel able to sell extra sheets (at work, evening class, school or friends) please have a word with Glenys or phone 343277.
Christmas cards
Thanks to a parishioners' generosity we are to have attractive Christmas cards with a picture of the church on sale within the next few weeks.  Watch out for them and plan how many you need.  All proceeds for Church funds.
Pram n' Buggy
There will be a Pram n' Buggy Service on Thursday 21st October at 2.00pm.
All parents,friends and pre-school children welcome.
Family Services
Please note that the next 11.00am Family Service takes place on the second Sunday of half term (31st October)  There will also be a Ten to Ten Service next Sunday.
Fathers
Our next special evening Service also takes place on 31st October and takes as its theme "Fathers".  This has been brought forward from the usual 1st Sunday of the month.
